WOMEN EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME

In fact the burden of inequitable development would seem to be disproportion ally shouldered by women in household and also at community level. It is been recognized and serious efforts are being made to increase the status quo of women socio-economic & politically, which ultimately leads their positive development. Formation and strengthening women organizations at various levels in the community is the prime programme of OMM BAIDIKA SANSKRUTIKA PARISHAD in the reporting period. The main aim of these organizational building to create an environment for women of the project area to grow in their own fashion. In the process formation of village level women organization has been given more emphasis and also through various capacity building & Awareness creation programs their functional skills are built, so that they can able to tackle their livelihood related issues, which ultimately benefits a larger mass.
